I am from India but now living in the US. I am 33 years young. I have a bachelor?s degree in Electronics and communications and am a network engineer.
I started star gazing when I was 13 years old. I made my own telescope for this. One of the radio programs in India called Introduction to the Stars guided me through the night sky to identify some of the constellations. It was a great experience and now it feels good to go back in memory.
Internet is one of the greatest things that happened during the last millennium, which is the key to this project itself. I spend a lot of time on the Internet.
Recently one of my colleagues told me about this project, the opportunity that I have been waiting for so long, I immediately installed the SETI@HOME software on my home PC.
I have always been interested in some kind of contribution from my part to space exploration. This project has really given me this great opportunity to fulfill my long lasting interest.
