Personal background
I'm from a little town nestled in the backwoods of Western Nebraska called Indianola. I lived there until I was 5 or 6. I can't remember when simply because I was more worried about who was going to shave my head in the big city and what kind of gum and soda pop do they have in Lincoln? I joined the military and retired in 2000 from the Air Force as an Instructor with the Defense Information School. I was an Armed Forces Radio and Television guy. My skills in the military landed me in my present job, which I am always happy to go to. Never a bad day. Never. It's the dream job and I love it!
I love to play golf, fish, and make cribbage boards, but can never find the time. I have lots of children and they take up most of my time.
I live in Maryland with my wife and all my little people who hope to one day live amongst the land of giants. If we learn 'em right!
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I do beleive that there are other life forms out there. I'm not so sure that we have a handle on what that exactly represents. One day we shall see.

I think we probably transmit enough into outer space as to confuse whoever really is out there.

I run SETI because of Bob S. He introduced me to the website and I've always been interested in ET Life, so if I can contribute just a little, then giddy up!
