I am a 48 yo female and a senior of Information Systems Management at the University of Maryland Univ. College. I live in Florida where I spend much of my time enjoying my boat in the Gulf of Mexico.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I enjoy letting SETI crunch their data on my machine and watching it as it does so and, while I do not believe we will find ET life with this process, this process will become important to other research as well.
Our biggest scientific need is the developement of commercial space flight and the elimination of the internal combustion engine.
