Personal background
I'm a student at Penn State University at University Park majoring in Information Sciences and Technology. I recently started using SETI@home again after stopping for a while when i reformatted my PC. I work on cars, and am addicted to electronics such as car and home audio. My jeep is loud and can be heard coming down the block!
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I'd like to see if extraterrestrial life exists, i think there may be a small possibility and it'd be hot it I was one of the persons to analyse the incoming radio data from space. If they are out there, which they may be, they will probably find us first before we find them. They'll probably have to come here soon and save us from George Bush and his terrorist Regime since all the other countries fear him and we will end up nuking each other if they don't save us soon! LOL... I run SETI@home because I once saw it on CNET back in the day in mid 99 and it looked pretty cool. It sure beats the other screen savers out there since it's actually serving a purpose, plus I want to find those Alien's first! I used to run SETI on my first PC a pentium 200 MHZ but have since lost the reg data and such for that account. I think this is a great project....the whole distributed computing concept. It's kinda like Playstation 3 actually since Sony is trying to make PS3 use a similar approach to processing... ain't that funny?
