Hello!
I am a 30-year-old single mother/waitress/college student in Colorado Springs, Colorado. I have two beautiful little boys, they are 6 and 10.
I am studying computer science in school and should be done in about 2 years.

| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

You have to understand (and I know how geeky this sounds) but the Star Trek universe was a very real thing in my house as a child. Then Star Wars. Outer space, extra-terrestrial beings, spaceships...science fiction was almost a religion in our house. The thought that there is nothing out there has never even occured to me. It's just too darn big for just us. I am unencumbered by theological superstitions, so the idea that god created this all for our amusement is pretty ridiculous to me. But that's just me.
I run SETI@home because it is the closest I can get to reaching out my hand and touching the stars.
