Profile: John Floren

Personal background
This user account was created to run on my 8-node OpenMosix cluster, which I put together here at Royal High School. It runs Debian Linux (stable). The nodes are only Pentium I's & II's, but with an instance of seti@home running on each it goes pretty well. What is really cool is that with multiple processors running the client, I contribute more CPU time than has actually passed since I started running it on this cluster.
Since graduating from high school in the spring of 2005, I have begun using this account to run SETI from my personal computer. The cluster is effectively laid to rest.
