Personal background |
I'm a retired Network Engineer. But that doesn't stop me from working. After working for a major eastern university for 27 1/2 years, I and some friends have a new business - doing what most of us were doing - but now we are out trying to take care of Rule 255 - Seeking a profit in the universe.
Most of our computers run SETI@Home - I run it on Macs, the rest of the office uses WindowsXP or 2000. My Macs have raked up more SETI@Home blocks than the rest of the office combined.
In my spare time, I'm a grand father of 2, I'm a Rail-Marine historian and I'm a model railroader. I run several websites devoted to Rail-Marine history, and I'm the webmaster for a railroad historical society. When I really have some spare time, I try and get out and drive my Mazda Miata MX-5, a 2001 British Racing Green Special Edition.

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |
I've been a lover of science fiction and science since I was a kid. I would look up at the night sky and wonder - is someone out there doing the samething - looking up at their night sky - and wondering...
I'm extremely pleased that I can offer my spare cycles to the SETI@Home project.
