Profile: John Warburton

Personal background
As I gaze upon the myriad of stars each night, celestial furnaces whose photons have been journeying for thousands of years until my eye halts them forever, I think to myself: "It's a bit parky out here".

Because, in the North of England, it always is.

However, because I am within sight of the Jodrell Bank radio telescope, it seems appropriate to be running SETI@Home on as many machines as I can beg or borrow for the task.

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
My two cats probably know more about the question of extra-terrestrial life than I do.

After all, it is they who catch the mice.
