Personal background
Hi, I'm Marko Èobanov. I was born in Croatia, in a little town on the sea-Šibenik. I'm a student and hope to become a pilot. I'm also a quite successfull cyclist which is momentarily my biggest occupation. I've always been interested in space and when i heard about the SETI i wanted to get into it as soon as posibile...unfortunately, i got my first computer in Jul 2000 so that's the time I first signed in. After some time, I've had to sign out and long time has passed since then but, here I am again and I'm not going out anymore. I'm running SETI on 2 computers. One, a pentium 133 is working 24/7, while the other Cel 1.3 works in the free time (and still it finishes 5 packages before the first one finishes 1...)...
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think SETI is a great thing! It has amazed me from the first time i heard about it and no wonder it has so many users! It's a great thing and i just hope that we finaly find something out there...it's a been a long search!
Sure I think ET's exist! It's a sure thing-I mean, the space isn't so big to have just humans living in it, now is it? I just hope they're friendly...:-)
