I'm a 42 year old mother of three. I've always been interested in astronomy and physics. I "ran into" seti @home in Puerto Rico and found it such a coincidence that the data was being collected out of the Arecibo Observatory. Of course, not joining was not an option. I now live in New Jersey USA and work for Verizon. In my free time I study for an associates degree in telecommunications on-line. My hobbies include embroidery and doll-making.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think extraterrestial life exists. the only problem I see with a possible discovery would be our own prejudices. I fear the thought of how we might react to another sentient race when we have such a hard time just dealing with the different peoples in our own planet.
