| I came to the conclusion years ago, due to the huge distances and time scales invlolved, that if aliens had ever visited the Earth, or were to visit here, it would have been countless centuries ago, or will be countless centuries in the future! I've not yet seen or read anything to change my mind. Quite why so many humans delude themselves into thinking otherwise completely eludes me. Still, you've got to laugh at the antics of some of the UFO enthusiasts, have you not! (NOT the SETI type of science based project which I think is admirable). I refer to the "loony" fringe groups like the one I saw on a t.v. program a while ago, where the members have cleared and maintain a landing site in the desert, and drive around in a car fitted with a rooftop flying saucer !! You've gotta luv'em, it makes for good t.v. at least. |
