Personal background
I am from Roanoke VA. I grew up on Star Trek, and have all 79 episodes, and all the movies. I have always enjoyed NASA, and anything to do with space exploration. It has been my life long dream to go to space. I was in the Marines for 15 years, and got out for medical reasons. I am now disabled, and get to spend a lot of time on the computer. I have been a sniper, crew cheif, a short order cook. My last job was Operations Analyst for America Online, and before that Network Engineer for AlliedSignal Aerospace. I worked a couple years for DynCorp Aerospace as a Database Analyst for the Maritime Pre-Position Ship Program (United States Marine Corps). I have been around the fringes of space/aircraft equipment for some type since I was 20. I am now 45, and live in my home town of Roanoke.

Last year before I back went completely out on me, I rode in the Multiple Sclerosis Bicycle ride from Charlottesville VA, to North Carolina, 150 miles. It was a great ride, and my last unfortunately. I love cycling, and miss it very much. On March 5th 2002 I am going into the VA hospital for a IDET procedure on my lower back, to try and fix two torn discs. I hope this cures my problems, but it could (outside chance) make it worse. It will not I don't believe cure all my back problems, because I have nerve damage on my left side. Well enough about the bad stuff, about the good.

I get to spend alot of time on my computer now, learning new things about SQL, Unix, and even Microsoft Programs. I get to talk to, and make alot of friends in the military, government, and all walks of life that believe in space exploration, and ETL. I truly believe we are not alone, and I hope we make first contact in my lifetime.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I beleive in ETL, and I whole heartedly support SETI@home. I think we will discover ETL, but I don't know how, or when. I beleive we have already been visited by ETL, and that someday they will make themselves known to all. I am not sure I beleive our government sometimes when it comes to this subject. However I don't think they have some great conspiracy going on with ETL. I process the SETI files on my home computer, as my screen saver. It runs 24 hours a day 7 days a week (well as long as I am not doing something).

Go SETI Go...
