Hi! I am a 48 yr old married Television Station Engineer living in N.W. Florida
and I have been involved with this project off and on for a few years now. I fly Ultralight Aircraft, (a Beaver RX-550 of Canadian Origin) and play Bass Guitar, along with some Vocals. I am heavily involved in the use of Computers to process our Audio and Video at the station, and have been in the Computer field since 1984. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| I personally think that life is happening all over the Universe, and I am a bit concerned that if a signal of life IS found, that it may be getting to us too late to be of any real use except to verify that we are NOT alone. This view is due to the terrific distances involved, and the speed with which these types of signals travel. One can only hope that when a signal is intercepted, it will be in time for us to reply. |
