Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I simply believe that SETI is our best chance to discover if there is anyone else out there. I believe the SETI project has uses and does good in ways even those who run it may not realize. Regardless of what the future holds, good, bad or indifferent, I am not one to sit around twiddling my thumbs and waiting for others to do. I have a drive to be one of those doing and SETI@Home has been one way I can help since 1999.
