Profile: Astronomy Roadshow

Personal background
From Sittingbourne, Kent UK. I operate a mobile planetarium in 10 counties in southern England. It was the first Multi-media planetarim system in Britain - set up in 1993, just a few months after the first Data projector was invented.

My only hobby has ever been Astronomy and anything related to it. The Apollo 13 mission was when I started at the ripe old age of six and a half.

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I want to live long enough to witness the first signals from another civilisation to prove that we are not destined to destroy ourselves, but can survive to go on and travel to the stars.

Perhaps a TV program could be made on such computer projects to show its potential.

Perhaps BOINC projects should be encouraged with the purchase of every new PC.
