Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
So many stars out there. I believe it is naive for us to think that we are the only beings in this universe.
If we get discovered by other intelligent life out there, this does not affect or threaten my spiritual beliefs. I say discovered because I feel other intelligent life out there is probably already aware of us, but we do not pose a threat to them. They probably amuse themselves like we are some kind of soap opera to them.
This is my contribution to the evolution of mankind. Offering cpu cycles and hoping that my work units will discover some life out there.
