Personal background
Hi there,

I'm an 34 years old electronic engineer. My hobbies are astronomics, electronic
and I am a radio amateur (callsign DL9SCT) for many years.

I live in the southern part of germany near a town called Crailsheim. Here I
have a nice view to the sky and sometimes I observe the sky with my 4 inch
telescope. Maybe I buy a nice dobson telescope sometimes ;-)

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. As I have seen the sky with my own telescope and if I see images from the hubble
space telescope it would be ignorant to think thar we are to only life in space.
But it needs some more time to solve our own problems on earth before we really
start to go discover space. Think about how much money goverments give for weapons
and war and how less the NASA or other spaceflight organisations get.

2. I don't would suggest to install a beacon for others to find us. First we should
find them and see how inteligent they are.

3. And thats the reason why I run SETI@home. To find them, before they find us ;-)
