Personal background
I started using computers around 1984, when our family got our first computer - a TI994A (dude! sweet!) A year later, I went to computer camp and became a die-hard dork.

I've been working as a computer professional in Missoula, Montana for the last 9 years. I began in 1994 at the University of Montana CIS Helpdesk - a year later I was hired as the "everything" girl at a local ISP. When I left in January of 2000, I was head of tech support, managing 15 other nerds. :) I've spent the last 3 years as a systems and network administrator.

I like computers (of course), hiking, biking, volleyball, music and NORML.

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I do. I believe they will find us. I believe that the dangers are that humans will destroy them. (like we destroy everything else.. arghh!)
