My name is Gianfranco and I live at 30Km from the Radiotelescope of Medicina the only in Italy that conduct a SETI program.
I'm crunching work unit since 1999 when i began as beta tester of the project. Since then many computers has been followed in the search.
Currently have 2 machines crunching
Self built PC on Intel i7 4770k water cooled CPU, MSI GeForce GTX 1060 6GB GPU & MSI GeForce GTX 960 4GB GPU, Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GBx2 DDR3 @1866MHz CL10 RAM
Macbook 13" late 2008 on Intel Core 2 Duo @2,00GHz CPU, Nvidia GeForce 9400M GPU, Corsair 2GBx2 DDR3 @1066 MHz RAM
The first one run Linux Ubuntu 16.04.2 LTS, the second one run OS X El Capitan 10.11.6 and both running self compiled CPU & GPU client optimized for my own system.
