I am a 38 year old male with a background in Civil Engineering Drafting and Design.Some of the projects I worked on included bringing the Space Shuttle Enterprise to Dullas International Airport for the Smithsonian Institute's Air & Space Storage Facility on the Airports property. My role was to devise a method for transporting the Shuttle from the end of the runway to the storage facility utilizing available materials which could be used to support the transportation of the Shuttle with the one restriction being that the route from the end of the runway to the storage facility had to be temporary. My solution for the feasability study was to construct a temporary aggragate road bed from the end of the runway to the storage facility topped with AM2 Landing Mat which was used by the Airforce during the Korean War for temporary runways for many differant types of aircraft, the Shuttle itself would be loaded onto what is called a "Strong Back" trailer designed to transport the Shuttle overground. Other projects I've worked on include Utilities management ie: natural gas transmission, distribution and service, Topographical Survey updating for the U.S.G.S. hard-copy to digital conversion project, V.O.A., Mobil Oil, and Emergency Planning Mapping for Seabrooks Nuclear Power Plants 4% licience. I'm currantly a Company accounts Manager and office supervisor.Every once in a while get the opportunity to do a little Designing on the computer but for the most part now I've become a numbers cruncher paper pusher which I REALLY ENJOY and work approx: 60 hours a week. I enjoy 4 wheeling in the snow, National Parks ie: Yosemite, The Civil War, Technology & Science, Astronomy, Abstract Art and Classical,Jazz and New-Age Music.

I think SETI & SETI@home are playing a key role in modern culture by fostering a sence community in the Cosmos. For us to believe that out of all of the trillions of Stars and Planets out there that we are the only beings around is just silly. I think either SETI or our Government Should send a signal out into space at the Highest and Lowest possible Frequencies we are capable of and that the transmission Should be either the endless calculation of PI, The sextile co-ordinates of the planets of our Solar System begining with mercury at zero on June 21st. A model of Human DNA or an Image of a Neptunian Lunar Pluton overlaid with a man-made structure that would resemble that pluton along with the process which begets neptunium (:-0)
