Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. Why should humans be ignorant to think that they are the only lifeform in the total picture?
When? In my opinion it may happen in any moment, but it have to be proven in all ways thinkable, sciencewise, in accord with all religions, Social and of course accknowledged by all types of media asap.
How?with programs like SETI and others, and using al computerpower available.
Benefits and dangers? we can deal with that during the proces, piece by piece.

2. I do like to think its wise to use a beacon, but then also we have to double the watch so to speak, cause it can also atrack things we don't want.
And what for info we have to send, something that explains the logic and think proces hier on earth.

3.The reason is I like to help.
My views about the project, I liked it from the moment I let my eyes fall on it.
Suggestions, try to do some more with simple buttons and fancy programming, there are a lot people that don't know a lot of te science side of the project, but got a powerfull computer anyway, and like pushing some extra buttons for sound and site.
