Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Do you think there's life outside Earth? YES, extraterrestrial life exists. Humans probably will pickup signals from space.(If these are the right signals that is) Benefits might be the trade of goods and information. Possible dangers are that humans want to be in control over other lifeforms (humans want to be in control and have power over everybody and everything since human existence)or that the lifeforms we encouter will be hostile toward humans.

2. Should Earth send a signal for aliens to hear? Hmmm, I don't know if that's necessary. We already dumped so much trash in space that other lifeform might stumble over it.

3. What's your main reason for running SETI@home? This way I can do my share for science.
