LAN / WAN Admin with regional medical facility in Mid-Michigan. Worked here 16 years and have Seti@home on my two computers. I run in my spare time and spend time with my wife.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Yes, I think they exist and will probably have to come here, since we have so far to go to get even to Mars. The mind goes wild thinking of all the different senarios that finding out about other life forms.

Transmitting is probably a good idea, personnally I wouldn't have any idea what to put in it.

I would like to help find something in the received transmissions. I think it is pretty cool and if we ever find something it makes it all worthwhile, right? Unless of course it's like ID4 where they come and try to take over the Earth and well, then the idea pretty much sucked then! :)
