I was born in 1950 and originally from Puerto Rico.
I have a degree in IT and enjoy digital compositing, astronomy and I'm an avid Sci=Fi fan. I am currently retired. I'm married and have two boys. My wife shares my love of Sci=Fi and we love attending Sci=Fi Conventions.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I run Seti at home because I REFUSE TO BELIEVE that in a unverse as vast as ours we were the only planet where life evolved. I think of SETI as the next step in the path of exploration. Just like the Vikings or Columbus, we need to take that step forward and just like them I'm sure the space beyond our borders will be occupied. I just pray that we will have matured enough when we encounter new galactic neighbors.
