| I am 39 years of age and I enjoy the outdoors. I live in New Mexico and work at a gasoline Refinery as an Instrument Technition. I have many hobbies that include Hunting, Fishing, Photography, and Computers. I generaly like to go hiking and exploring just to see or find something that I have never seen before. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| I believe there is life on other planets that we can not see or here YET, but someday we will encounter a visit of some sort by what we would call an Extraterrestrial Intelligence. This will be very dangerous because we wont why they came, or what they will be looking for. Will they look like us, or something out a Scince Fiction movie or book. Will they be able to communicate with us as we know how to communicate. We can only hope that when this time comes we will be ready to except the challenge in an appropriate way. I have Been running "seti@home" for a few years now and I tell everyone I know to try it. I enjoy thinking that in some small way I am helping human kind with the data that could some day be usefull to us all and might reveal the special secret to the wide open universe. |
