Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I run SETI because it gives me a sense of participation in a worldwide issue.
I applaud the creators of the program and am curious to see how it develops in the coming years to serve science in other areas of research. Earth holds such a unique place in this vast universe with all of the right conditions for life, (location,location) I will be pleasantly surprised if in my lifetime we succeed in discovering even microbial life elsewhere.
