Profile: CTHajos

Personal background
I am from Cocoa Beach/Cape Canaveral Florida, though I no longer live there. I have a biology degree from Morehead State University which I haven't really put to good use yet. Things I enjoy include home brewing and vinning. I also enjoy autosports like autocrossing, but lately I have been far too poor for that kind of nonsense. Currently my main activities are learning JAVA and looking for decent work and considering dropping back into gradschool, maybe. Philosophically, I am a cynical epicurean, and a bit of a grouch.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I have no doubts that some form of life exists on some other planet. Intelligent life which communicates via radio in the water hole frequencies may prove to be scarce. I have a feeling humans won't find extraterrestrial life until we have mastered interstellar commuting. I just hope that whatever we find does not come to the conclusion that earth critters are a tasty snack.
