Profile: Chris Rowlands

Personal background
I was recently a student in a fairly large town called Colchester (50 miles from London) in the UK, and are currently working part time in a local garden centre. I hope to join the police in the late future too. I started using SETI@home because my PC was running 25/7 anyway so i mite aswell be doing sommit usful with it. Im running a Windows XP Pro system, 2.8Ghz P4 single processor, 512Mb ram etc etc
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I do believe ETs do excist but i dont think they will be dicovered in my lifetime, but by doing this i hope that im speeding up the process so my future children may beable to live through the discovery.

Humans should transmit, if there not enough already (TV, RADIO, SECRET SOVIET CONVERSATIONS, HEHE). I think if ETs did pick up these signles they would be very confused, and after seeing films like how we killed the aliens in indipendance day they would rage a quick a bloody war against us.

I think SETI@home is a brilliant project, it makes idle computers accross the world usful again. But seriously, even if theres a small chance of finding anything, we must still try. I'm honored to look for ETs along with thousands of other's accross our world. Keep up the good work everyone.
