I'm from Iowa. I am 35, I drive a Semi for a living over the road for 14 years now. I have enjoyed using computers since I was 10. I used to call alot of BBS's before Internet came out.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think extraterrestrial life exits because there are soo many galaxyies out there as seen by HST. Will we discover it in my time or yours I doubt it. Maybe if we get to travel farther from our earth. I like the concept of Star Gate that would be cool. Computers have really improved so much in the last 20 years. Imagine another 50. Benefits maybe we could learn new things. Perhaps space travel. The dangers would be that they try and kill all life here as we know it. I think we are all ready transmitting a beacon with all the transmissions going on here at earth. It's neat being part of a large computing project such as Seti.
