Personal background
Computers are one of my passions, astrophysics is the other. My favorite movies and reading is about "cience fiction", I also have my own collection of documentals (Cosmos, Discovery, National Geographic, others) about the marvels of the universe, an encyclopedia of astronomy, some books and programs in my computer to find stars, galaxies, etc... and of course my telescope, is not a big one, but brings me good views.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. Definitely we are not alone, average human don't want to believe until they see them, but I think is a kind of fear, because we don't know what could be the alien's intentions, certainly I want to believe that we could learn a lot of them, it stil depends on their intentions.

2. This is a hard question, because if we send too much could be risky, but if is not enough, how could they understand? any way the universal language will be always physics and mathematics for a first chat.

3. Because of my passion for the universe and if we someday find another civilization I am the one who wants to know, I am not afraid of it, always is better to know. Also because I would like to know the way they try to communicate with us, it will be a mystery until it happens. The project is great, all the people that we are registered here have the opportunity to be close of what we want. I would like to receive some more information by e-mail about the new dicoveries, stars, black holes, important events in the sky.
