1. yes. Probably in 15 years or so. First it won't be intelligent. It will 'only' be bacteria or so. But that will lead to new discoveries in technology and therefore the discovery of ET. But i think it wil take minimum 100years or so before ET rendezvous. possible dangers or benefits from an encounter of ET will be quite unpredictable. It all depends on our view upon them, and vice versa.
2. No, i don't think we are ready for such an encounter yet. But if we did, i would think we should send pictures of places (astronomic) and happenings (human's in particular)
3. I run SAH because i hope to contribute to a greater companionship of humans, across borders and believes. I think it is a great project. I don't think we will discover ET in this way, as before mentioned, but i think it is contributing to a better understanding of the cosmos. |
