Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
SETI has held an allure for me since I was a child fascinated by UFO books, Viewmaster slides of the Apollo missions and Viking pictures of the Martian surface. I first heard of SETI@home when it featured as an item in a BBC radio programme in the 1990's. If space exploration is an expensive luxury then I think the least we should spend the money (or computer time) on is a SETI project, never mind space stations.
