I run SETI@home on all my computers in the hopes of settling the big question: is anyone out there? To paraphrase Clarke; either we're alone in the universe or we're not and both answers are terrifying. But, wouldn't it be great to find that interstellar message-in-a-bottle washed up on our shore?
