Profile: Reddiesel

Personal background
I'm a 36 years old Engineer working for Caterpillar Defence Products in the United Kingdom.

I specialise in Electronic Diesel Control and Test Bed data acquisition systems.

That's the boring work type stuff out the way..

I love to play with "Techie" things and have great fun making them work better. Sometimes they break but thats life.

I work privately carrying out a wide variety of tasks from tree surgery to project management of machinery installations and upgrades.

I travel quite a few miles to see live bands play. I'm mainly into unsigned bands but occaisionally I will stretch a point and go and see somebody mainstream ( Counting Crows was the last one ) I have a passion for any music utilising Electric or Midi Violin. I don't know why but it just seems to get to me. (Ed Alayne-Johnson, Daryl Way, Levellers, Blue Horses ) My CD collection is more eclectic ranging from Trad Folk through Punk Rock all the way accross to Goldfrap and Bent. Most of the newer dance type stuff I just listen on the radio.

Seti is just keeping my 'puter fit, I don't really have much interest in cosmology ( since Carl Sagen snuffed it ) but it would be pretty cool to find that we're not the only ones here just to annoy the born again god botherers !
