I live in London UK, where I work for local government. My interests are science, natural history, photography and music.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. I think that it is very unlikely that Earth is the only planet that contains life.
2. I think that we should transmit a beacon - the likelihood is that any civilisation that was technologically developed enough to receive it would be less likely to be a threat to us.....?
3. I run SETI@home because I think that it is an excellent opportunity for ordinary people to help find out about the universe.
