I'm an ex-Microsoftie who is now a cabinetmaker/kitchen designer/remodeler. I was born in 1958, divorced in 1999 (and now looking... ;-)
I live on the Olympic Peninsula of Washington State. This gives me an advantage over the Seattle people in that I can hike, 4 wheel, bicycle and SCUBA dive without a lot of competition.

Yes, I believe that there are other intelegent creatures on other planets. Have they visited us? I don't know. I do have concerns that all our radio transmissions are a beacon that can be homed in on by a preditory species, much like ourselves in our colonial period. I also anticipate a hore of Yankee Traders coming to Earth to make a quick buck. The latter I can deal with!
I do believe in UFO's but I don't know if they come from "here" or somewhere else.
