Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I've been a member for years now and to be honest I'm not sure that we'll ever pick up a radio signal from another planet. If there are ET's out there, maybe they don't like TV as much as we do? Maybe we're 100million years too late (or early) to detect the civilization? Maybe they're directing their attention to the centre of the Milky Way where there's more activity rather than 3/4 the way out?
Still that's not a reason not to try at least. Prove me wrong SETI!
