Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I do think extraterrestial life exists, I think we will find proof for that within the next 50 years, as our technology is becoming better and better through time. I dont think we should place a beacon, that could be dangerous in the worst case. I think that its okay to just scan and gather information, but I think that we should wait with making contact at least another 50 years. I run Seti@Home because I like the feeling to take part of a large project, and what the hell am I supposed to do with all this computerpower when I am downloading files at night when I am asleep ? :))
