Personal background
I'm still a dreamer although I'm 42 years old, but as a handicapped person, dreaming is important because it is free and unlimited. So is the sky.
The puzzle of my life is this: When we photograf into the universe, how come we never get a picture of the future. Our galaxy is moving in a direction, so if we take pictures from that direction into which we are moving, then why is it not pictures of the future to come?
Another but more "quiet-laughing-puzzle" is: When God made our planet, he must have made some rough-drafts somewhere, or maybee we're his rough-draft. So inevitablely, there must be someone out there, who are baffled as we are, about whether or not there are other beings in the universe.

Sorry if the spelling is not correct, but I only have my "school-english" to lean on.

Greatings from a Dane.

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. Yes, because life is wherever the possibility rises. We will discover it, when our tecnology can figure out, how to interpit the signals. Upside: We can get smarter and get a common goal for all mankind instead of insisting on being more right than our neighbour-countries. Downside: We can get hostile visitors - maybe without them knowing their hostile actions - somewhat like when humans interveen with natural habitats on our own planet.
2. Oh, yes, lets take the chance. It is not going so well with the world as it is, so it cannot be much worse, but there's a great chance, it can get better. Give them clues about how far from superiority we are, and that we have not got at clue about the meaning of anything.
3. I would like to participate in the search and feed my own dreams. I see a great opportunity to spend some funds on other things than wars.
I would like to have more programs on television about science/astronomy for ordinary people to feed their dreams and hopes about the future. The serie with Sam Neill as narrator was brilliant, so more like that.
