Personal background
Hello alien seekers! I'm from Sarajevo, and I am 22. My current occupation is study of English language and literature, but my hobbies are computers, music, and getting knowledge in space science. So, I am here to help all those scientists that are trying to find some form of inteligent life, whatever the word "inteligent" means. They are providing me, and all of us, with the data they collect using expensive and complex sofisticated equipment, not available for ordinary sky-observers, and in return I borrow them my CPU power to compute those data.
It is a good way to make your computer usefull when not in use :)
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. I wouldn't be here if i didn't believe that some form of is out there, would I? I cannot say whether we will be able to contact them or not, but we derfinitely won't if we don't try.

2. I think that we have already sent signals (TV, Radio, The Voyager, Pioneers etc.) If that does not count, than the signal should be sent, no matter what the consequences might be (let's take a risk)

3. Nothing for the moment. Maybe just the improvement of the SETI@Home client, which will provide more information on what actually we are doing.
