I'm a 60ish old man with electrons on the brain, doing computer stuff since I bought an Apple][ when they first came out.
I've been doing S@H since 1999 with a budget of Zero dollar$. I have a continuing quest using only junk parts- I maintain at least 2 (sometimes as many as 4) computers running S@H 24/7/365.
As of June 2015 there are currently 2 computers on line and a 3rd under construction.

January 2010 - Computer "machine16" died during the night after completing over 256000 work units. It will be missed.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
The universe is too darn big to have evolved intelligent life in only one place.
I wanna be the 1st to meet E. T. so I can ask for a ride in their flying saucer.
SETI@home and Astropulse are funded by grants from the National Science Foundation, NASA, and donations from SETI@home volunteers. AstroPulse is funded in part by the NSF through grant AST-0307956.
