I loved looking up at the stars and wondering if there is 'intelligent’ life out there? But then I remember something my mother told me â€if you keep looking up, you will get bird #&*@ in your eye!â€. So know I let my computer do the looking. My 1968 Pontiac GTO is my personal spacecraft. I race it at the Silver State Classic at over 160MPH. The pic is from Hot Rod magazine from August 2001. Do you think extraterrestrial life exists?
There must be, or that's a huge waste of space.
Should humans transmit a beacon for others to find?
Well being it will take millions of years to reach them, It wont bother me if they come here with a book entitled 'To Serve Man'.
Why do you run SETI@home?
It's just a cool computing thing. And I hope we do find something. Maybe all those religious type will get off there high horses. Don't get me wrong, I have nothing but respect for most religions, but get off the soapbox already.
What are your views about the project?
I just wish the government would put a pry bar in the budget and get Seti some lunch money!
Any suggestions?
