Surely there must be more intelligent species in this vast Universe.
If so, why haven't we heard from them (or maybe we have/are and don't know it).
It is hard to believe that this tiny, insignificant mote of Universe dust we
inhabit, (a small, blue-green world in one of the less fashionable sectors of
the galaxy), is the only source of sentient life.
I suspect that we will eventually "Make Contact", but probably not in my
lifetime.
Maybe my kids will live to experience the wonders of Extraterrestrial Beings.
Remember, according to the HitchHiker's Guide to the Galaxy, "The Earth was
often mistaken for a planet. It was, in fact, a powerful supercomputer running a
program designed by hyper-intelligent pan-dimensional beings" - Douglas
Adams (1952 - 2001). We miss you Doug.
