| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I strongly agree extraterrestrial life exists. It is very narrow-minded to think otherwise. Some people's religious beliefs conflict with my opinion, but after all, it is MY opinion, like it or not. The Universe is so large that we cannot even begin to imagine how big it really is. Somewhere out there, there has to be some other form of life. It may be smaller than us or larger than us, but I think there is intelligent life out there and it probably will be found some time in the near future.
We should definately send out a beacon and with it information that might let "someone" else out there know that we are here. Maybe with it could be included some info on Earth and who we are. Other than that, anything would be okay by me.
I run SETI@home hoping that I might actually be contributing to the largest and possibly most important discovery we will ever make. In my opinion, I think the SETI project is a great idea and should be continued for as long as possible.
