| I live in Florida and I am a computer geek. I am a big Sci-Fi fan. I am running Seti@home on 2 PC's: an Athlon 900Mhz, and 800 Mhz. I am running CLI mode. It saved me about 2 hours per work unit. |

| I am a big fan of Carl Sagan, and believe that 'we are not alone'. I am not optimistic about how mankind will greet extra-terrestrials. It is unbelievable to me, that in the 21st century, we are at war with each other. How will we get along with E.T. when we can't get along with others on our own planet? We need to start protecting the environment. If we don't take care of this planet, no one will be alive to greet E.T. I would love to see first contact in my lifetime. In my opinion, we need to launch more satellites, and explore planets beyond our own solar system. I hope that I can help in a small way by running Seti@home. |
