Profile: Janne Rentola

Personal background
I am a finnish photographer (totally finished, haa haa)working in a cultural archive. Born 1963, living in Helsinki, Finland. Wife and two children, a boy and a girl. Quite ordinary, huh?

If this was not enough, visit www.sls.fi/rentola. Sorry, the page is only in finnish. Look at the pictures or learn the language. Preferably both.

I do have one hobby, and it is so time-consuming and pleasant, that I don't need any other hobbies: I have done kyudo (japanese archery) since 1990. I have heard people say, that it is the most difficult sport they've done. I don't know, it is the only one I've ever done voluntarely. Contact your local kyudo club now! ("Local" means any nearer than 500 km.) Beg them to let you start today! They will think you are a crazy masochist, and wish you welcome.

About my picture here: It is both me and uncle Joe, I usually don't dress to kill. Remember, a picture can lie more than a thousand words (and takes as much space on your hard disk).
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I hope there is some intelligent life in the universe, though the part of it I've visited does not support such a theory.
