| I am 34 and live in Wigan in the UK. I am one of the many people in this world who's claim to employment is ' something to do with computers ', working from home I spend my time looking after my three noisy kids while Mum is out at work, sometimes I miss the office but not very often. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| I would really like to think that there is life on other planets, it seems pretty unlikely that we are alone in this vast universe, the question I ask is,just because we are looking for 'E.T.' does it mean that he (or she) wants to be found? let's face it, I'd be scared of us too. If and when we find life outside our own universe we need to be careful to send the right impression of the kind of people we are. Just by taking part in such a big experiment as SETI@HOME shows that the people who are looking care. To dedicate so much time by so many people proves it. |
