I'm a retired sofware engineer who spent 13 years working on the Space Shuttle onboard flight software in California and Texas. I was on the program during the launch of several high profile payloads including the Hubble Space Telescope.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I can't think of anything more challenging and interesting than trying to comprehend the workings of this fantastic universe, and the search for ET is certainly a worthy part of that effort.
