Personal background
I'm a 16 year old from Devon in merry old England. I enjoy reading, playing on my PC, rugby - the usual stuff. I have been interested in space for a while now, and am fascinated about everything to do with it - when Man lands on Mars it will be as ground-breaking as Neil and his moon exploits.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Extraterrestrial life does exist because, basically, it has to. Even though the Earth is in a very rare position in the solar system, the number of galaxies means that there has to be a few others like it. I think that the reason we haven't discovered ET is because they are not as technologically advanced as movies make them out to be - how do we know that they aren't currently in an earlier state of evolution? Having said that, we should still try to make contact, and keep looking out for signals from them - hence SETI@home.
