Personal background
I am not important to a project like SETI. If I find a positive result, the one who took the packet before
the mine would have helped me, so he/she is also part oft the success. And so on ... Important is beeing part of SETI.
Everyone has taken it's packets of data, so everyone is part of the result. Goon
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
It's a great project. I don't care about alien research projects. I believe they are out there.
I don't know if we will find them. I think our live would not change to dramaticaly if we could find them.
Why not help them to find us? As far as our knowledge is by now they would have the same problem as we have: The speed of light.
Why do I run this? It's a great idea with hopefully no great comercial background. So my PC's can do something usefull.
